Forms and Permits

All temporary or permanent fencing, plowing, cultivating, or working in the road right of way that affect drainage, must meet Wisconsin Stat. #86.021. The road right of way is 33 feet from the center of the road. This means crops in the right-of-way will be mowed.

All new one- and two-family dwellings must complete a State building permit, in addition to the Town of Forest Building Site Permit, request a fire number and driveway permit. All new and additions to buildings must complete a Construction Data Form. All new homes must request a fire number. All new or revised driveways that enter onto a town road must be approved before construction. Penalties apply for not completing forms before construction.

Any burning must require a burning permit.
